reTORT is a geometric-optics ray tracer with proven applicability in the high-frequency RF spectrum, built from scratch for modeling and optimizing complex optical systems with the latest software technologies. reTORT enables the design of Optical and RF systems that are small, lighter and have improved performance.
reTORT runs within E x H's proprietary GEMSIF (GEometry, Modeling, and Simulation InterFace) computational framework, which is also included in the package.
reTORT allows designs with arbitrary 3D geometry and has an arbitrary material simulation engine that includes binary mixing of standard materials included or new materials you upload into the engine.
reTORT has the capabiility to perform multi-objective local and global optimizations and includes wizards for quick and easy setup of your design and simulation. It excels, and has internal capabilities, for the design of phase gradient metasurfaces and gradient index lenses.
